Project brief…

Surrey Manor House
A particularly beautiful and architecturally interesting listed property, this is an ongoing project for Heather. She works closely with the owner as each room needs updating. The master bedroom has it’s own challenges as the floor is very uneven, there are beamed walls and it needed to feel cosy and warm, but light.

Project solution…

A Nina Campbell weave was used for the large heavy curtains, and Colefax & Fowler embroidered linens for the quilted bed throw, Roman blind and cushions.
Heather’s upholsterer has renovated or reupholstered several pieces here, including the snug sofas which were recovered in an interesting herringbone weave from Zoffany, a little desk chair and stool had a Colefax Stripe, and of course cushions completed the look.
The newly-built Pool House is having funky cushions to complete the modern, light and airy feel which is a complete contrast to the main house.
A guest bedroom is now undergoing an update, with new curtains in a warm fresh stripe and a beautiful quilted bed throw and cushions to complete the look.

We have been absolutely delighted with everything Heather has done, she had the vision to create a flow throughout the house. We couldn’t have done it without her.
